Visitation & Communion to Sick

Tweed Heads has the largest concentration of seniors in the state of New South Wales. Many of these people are unable to leave their homes – either because of their own ill health, or that of a family member for whom they are carers. Some Parishioners have undertaken the ministry of visiting the sick and taking communion to them regularly. Priests visit these people in order to offer them the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. All aged care facilities in the parish are visited regularly by parishioners and by the Parish Team. The sacraments of Holy Communion and Anointing of the Sick are available regularly and in emergency situations such as proximity of death
