St Josephs Community Centre operates under the auspice of St Josephs Catholic Church Tweed Heads and is managed through St Josephs Futcher House Management Committee.
The service operates with funding provided by the Supported Accommodation Assistance Programme administered through the NSW Department of Community Services.
Futcher House Accommodation Programme:
Homeless Young people in the 12 to 22 (flexible) age group.
Agency referrals or self referral.
Appropriate information requested before admission.
Futcher House Youth Service provides the following services:
Life skills and goal setting - Accommodation/training
Employment opportunities support - Counselling service.
Advocacy and referrals to:
Health and medical - Financial assistance - Subsidised rentals
Legal and court support - Re-entering education/training system

Limited Housing is also available for young single parents, the age range is 15 to 22 years of age. This programme offers:
Budgeting/Support, Goal setting/counselling, Living skills programme,
Parenting support and many more.
